Near South California, has affordable payments, and more courses. Exclude all sports please!

south california? My first thoughts go to Caltech, if you have the grades. the price tag is really high (35000?), but there are a billion scholarships, the average student loan for the graduating class of 2006 was less than $5,000.
The same with Harvey Mudd, lots of scholarships, really competitive, 1 hr from LA (try other clairmount colleges, too).
