I just wish the Oscars would stop being so political.
It seems like every year (like this year with the 2 hour Al Gore infomercial called "An Inconvenient Truth") they try to make some political statement by giving an oscar to someone or some film that really wasn't that good, but made some kind of "hollywood politically correct" statement.
Many truly great films and performances are ignored because they didn't have the correct political statement.
Its enough to make you stop watching movies.
Personally, I think Forrest Whitaker was awesome in "The Last King of Scotland."
