as i have said in other questions my husaband and i are not together but in case you dont know he was and still is a drug user. i left him and now have to manage 4 children on my own. i have a son that is 10 mths old and i can not work yet i am on maturnity but that barely pays the rent. currently i am on social assistance until i can go back to work. i have made a better home without him then i had when he was there. i have alot of support behind me but i have a problem with my husband. he thinks that everything that i now have in the home including the food that i buy with the baby bonus is his. he lives with his brother dwn strs and knows when i get paid and when i do my shopping. the same day he calls for food and money. i of course refuse him the money, but i am still working on refusing him the food. i think that if he decided to spend his money on drugs that he should starve but i cant bring myself to do it yet. how do i get him to leave me alone without call the authorities.

Think of it this way: You are enabling him to do drugs and sponge off you if you help him. He has to hit rock bottom before he will change and you are saving him from having that happen.Tell him that it is the baby's food money and you need it for that. Period.
He won't starve. He will just find another sucker to sponge off of. And eventually his luck will run out and he will have to straighten up.

Give him used food containers and tell him he can lick them clean.
