he own the rights to all of his songs,
and jointly owns the rights to all the beatles songs with sony,paul mcartney and michael were in a bidding war over the rights,but michael won,

and i am so glad he did,im still mad at the beatles for releasing a song called michelle,although it was released way before i was born.
but since michael owns it i never have to hear the beatles do it,but i wiould absolutly love for michael to redo it..

Yes. Michael owns his own songs. As well as a couple of Beatles songs and the bones to the Elephant man.

Yes/ He's a very savvy business man. He does own the entire Beatles catalog too and no he does not own the Elephant mans bones. They were not sold, although he did want buy them. He felt the poor man had been stared at enough in life and wanted to prevent them from going to a museum or something public.
