Say he didnt kill himself. I think that was a shame, not that i supported his actions but still he was good at what he did. And i'm just wondering how the world would be like if he was still alive in prison. or wherever

Hitler and Stalin, unfortunately, were the two most influential leaders of the 20th century. Churchill, Roosevelt, Truman, DeGaulle, JFK, Gandhi, Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela were all significant, for sure, but none of them had as much impact on events as "Old Adolf" and "Joe Stalin."

If Hitler had won, there would probably be little Hitlers running all over Latin America, Africa and Asia today shouting "Sieg Heil!" or something like it, and reviewing goose-stepping troops at military parades.

However, since Stalin was the ultimate winner in the contest, the world saw lots of communist leaders and communist movements emerging after World War II instead of Fascist ones. Ho Chi Minh, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara all embraced Stalinism. Sadaam Hussein admired both Hitler and Stalin but decided that since Stalin was the more successful leader, he would emulate Stalin instead. It's one of those things were everbody loves a winner and hates a loser. The winner is the one that they will always identify with and try to emulate..

The fact that Churchill, Truman and Roosevelt did not surpass Hitler and Stalin's influence after the war was a tragedy and to some extent, a failure for democracy.

there is not any threat that Hitler remained alive after WWII, or went to Argentina. He shot himself after 3 PM interior of sight time on April 30, 1945. 3 surviving witnesses--Gunsche, Linge and Axmann, testified that they observed Hitler ineffective, and helped carry him and eva hitler out of the bunker to be cremated. as properly, the Russians got here upon Hitler's decrease jawbone and better dental bridge. They confirmed them to dental technician Kathie Heseurmann and Dr. Blashcke, who shown they belonged to Hitler. John has a solid answer yet I question 2 issues: First, the cremation left below a "blackened corpse." At superb, basically a partial skeleton remained--of which basically the decrease jaw and bridgework had to be shown for identity purposes. The image of the "blackened corpse" interior the ammunition container is an element of the wisely named Russian Operation fable document. And a similar is real of the tale that the maintains to be have been buried in Magdeburg and disinterred and cremated in 1970. As has been time-commemorated for some years, we only won't be able to have faith Russian comments. i think the maintains to be of Hitler and goebbels etc have been stashed away in a secret Kremlin vault, and could stay secret till 2045 or so.

i think your real question is if germany won world war 2, obviosly there would be peace because the world would be under one goverment (like an empire) and hitler was a technology geek, so we would most likley be more advanced and all of us would really be into astrology because hitler was into that kinda stuff, i believe it would be very intresting to be speaking german right now and having a picture of him on my bedroom wall thanking him for the crazy stuff he brought with the world, the only thing i dont like his him killing the jews with out seeming to have a reason why

the only way Hitler would still be alive today is if he didnt lose the war... but he would have died in the 1980's as he would've been nearly 100years old!!!!

So the world would be completely different as the Allied Powers would have lost ww2 and Hitler's Reich would have established itself as a major world and historical power...

If he was defeated and in prison it wouldn't be much different. If he had won, I would hate to think. Actually, I doubt he'd be alive now because he would be well over 100!

It would mean a Hitler aged nearly 118. More seriously, I think Hitler's regime would not have survived him for long - there were too many competing factions there.

Everyone would be speaking Germans. All Jewish people, Gypsies and other people who opposed Hitler would be dead. Everyone would be thinking and acting like robots and those who dare to speak out against the man would be killed.

Really it wouldn't be that different except that he'd either be in jail and shunned upon by people, or he would have already been executed by the German people, because of how ashamed they feel for letting someone like that take over.

It would be interesting. Germany was working on many advanced science and medical fronts.
