But there's a reason why there's a shortage of nurses. It's because they act like students are studying to be DOCTORS instead...

my mom is a nurse. she is always telling me how much she loves her job, but is always complaning about other nurses who hate it and are always quiting, leaving the floors understaffed. my mom has been a nurse for the past 21 years (all of my life), working the night shift "7 on 7 off - 7 to 7" she works from wednesday night to the next wednesday morning, for 12 hour shifts. she makes great money. i'm pretty sure it's something like $28 an hour.
