Because if ur on the moon you can learn so many things just being on it. you can put telescopes on it or something, of all the things out there "we"* only know less than 5% of everything in the entire universe

Somebody has a few billion dollars they have to waste. I suppose they could set some new records like highest pole vault & stuff because of the low gravity. Or they could broadcast child pornography to earth, there's no law agaist it there. Finding advertisers would be a real ballbuster.
