Yes. These sound like the very beginning of real labor. But real labor pains won't go away if you lay down for 30 min on your left side. If they don't go away, time them and if they get to 5 min apart for an hour that's when you need to go in. Good Luck to you!!

Yes u might be. Labour feels like really bad period pain. You should probably go to the birthing ward and get checked out just to make sure nothing is wrong

I would keep track of your pains and if it gets to close then I would say call your doctor and maybe even go on to the hospital to get checked out to see if it is real or false labor.

Could be.... if it's the real thing, they'll become progressively stronger and longer. The tightening usually wraps from your back and around your sides.
If they're just Braxton-Hicks... they'll usually stop if you get up and walk around.

Your definitly having contractions. That is exaclty what it feels like and your stomack gets hard as a rock. You need to go to the doctor.

wait another hour to see if your contractions become regular and more intense (and lasting longer). just to be safe maybe you should call your doctor? these could also be braxton hicks, sometimes they are painful and intence, although they do go away are do not increase or intensify...hope that helps you.
