Absolutely, Im very confident that I would have the same opinions about things as my otherself.
I would make myself laugh and vice versa.. Man, Match made in heaven, I think!!!

If I could legally marry myself I wouldn't have to change my name,I would win all of the arguments (if there happened to be any) and I wouldn't hog the bed so I could share it comfortably with myself.I could also do whatever I wanted unless I objected and decided not to and I could have chocolate cake whenever I wanted for dinner.No one would bug me about finding socks for them and the toilet seat would always be down.I could be in the shower for hours and I wouldn't complain and I would always agree with myself on everything just to keep the peace.I could probably use myself as a tax write off and use the extra money for buying every episode that has ever aired on Oprah Winfrey and no body could tell me I couldn't.Being married to myself would have it's advantages but since I have too much in common with myself I don't think it would work out.It would probably just end in divorce.So no I wouldn't marry myself if I could,I'll stay married to my husband instead he has more patience than me.

You mean as for looking for loopholes in the marriage legislation? Or using it for fraud?
Same sex couples can get married if it turned out that their name was the same then the only thing that would establish the identity of the other person would be the firm or the fingerprint.
Guess if you had some of the papers you could fool some people declaring yoursel homosexually married with a person with your same name, but not for long without getting someone suspicious. Anyway there must be better ways of faking identity

No. Though it would be nice to marry someone I already knew well, it would probably get boring and wouldn't be satisfying on most levels. A lot of people nowadays go to therapy to AVOID or UNDO their marriages they have with themselves. Talk about not being able to get rid of your own baggage. You're MARRIED to it!
Besides I believe that there is something truly special about commiting yourself to someone ELSE.

Well, At the VA hospital the records were so messed up my son was his own next of kin. That gets pretty close to being married to yourself and this is a government facility. Tip: Anyone reading this that has ever gone to a VA hospital please ask to see your records. There seems to be some strange inconsistency.

No. It's pretty hard to fight with yourself like you do in most marriages. It wouldn't look tpo good and you'd probably get commited if you're yelling at yourself all the time. lol

Why?? Marriage is about love and companionship shared between two people. So you cannot be alone and call yourself 'married'
