Yahoo recycles them, and donates them to charity. Right now 1% of all our answers are being used by Sprint Cars for the Homeless.

I know that happend to me I had 5% I looked back and only had 4% I was really mad I was like where in the world is my 1% I guess it wears away once you ask a question cuz you lose some points.

They probably round the percentages, and because of that it doesn't equal a full 100%.
