My life was great until I was unable to work outside the home from a disease. I have a family but during the day I get very lonely. I try and occupy myself and end up calling my mom too much which isn't healthy mentally . Is there anyone out there that has overcome this obstacle?

I've never had to deal with anything to that extent, but the one thing that always occupies me is reading. Even if you're not a huge "book person," there has to be some topic that interests you. Sometimes, if I really like a book, I can just get completely lost in it, and I'm sure that you can find some subjects that will do the same for you.

your here~this is all that is going to be purpose someday~
if the computer can create so can u, no one can over come an obstacle~that is how your teacher produced u, u defer to this in a quest of other desires, pick one or the other and that will divide the problem in half take on either boredom or loneliness one at a time, everybody is overwhelmed that way too~it's all small stuff and they say not to sweat the small stuff~"everything will be just fine", repeat: that allot and breath deeply.....end of text

This is by far the most tough question I have tried to answer.I don't know your disability but you have a great mind.. As in you asked us...Just on the top of my head .. you seem to spell and know how to read.. why not start a journal.. things that have happened to you. Why not a novel or just short stories that you could summit to the local newspaper. Just jot down things in your child hood days . Things that made you laugh things that made you sad. I know sweetie and I am trying as you are. I'm not disabled but I do love to write and now trying to get my foot into a door to help me further my desire and that's to write. Good luck to you and know I am thinking about you.

I have been by myself for over 25 years and find the best thing is to go down to the book shop or libruary and get some good novels out. You will find that hours will pass by without you thinking about anything else.

good luck

You could perhaps for an online club, or group. Or take up a collecting something that can be collected by post, perhaps using Ebay.

Or perhaps do teaching from home- private tutoring?
