I'm choosing only pure SG
West
1. Kobe (this guy is just amazing... and now that he is passing and taking 7 less shots a game, his team is winning!!)
2. Iverson (i know he isnt playing in his prime right now with the nuggets, but he is playing with one of the best SF right now, do dont hate on AI... and dont say AI is a PG, cause he's not, Steve Blake is PG right now)
3. Ray Allen (purest shooter in the NBA right now, hes averging 27 points which will decrease once Rashard Lewis starts to play in his prime)
East
1. D-Wade (He's averging 28.8 points, 8 assists, 2 steals and 1 block... do i really need to say more?)
2. Vince (even though hes getting older, he is still one of the most explosive players in the game. He can single handly turn around the momentum of the game by just his dunks and ally-oops from Kidd)
3. Hamilton (best mid-range shooter in the game easily!!)
Players like LeBron and arenas werent on the list because they arent true SG, even though they could play it. Porbably Arenas is a better SG than PG, but cause of height... hes a PG

Western Conference Shooting Guards
1. Kobe Bryant- Arguablly the best player in the game right now. He is one of the most relentless scorers and an outstanding offensive player. Also a great defensive guard. Has the ability to take over games at will and one of the best clutch shooters.
2. Ray Allen- His team isn't doing well, but he has always been such a great shooter throughout his career. How can you not look at his shot and view it as a sight of beauty. As my friend put it, "I get an orgy watching him shoot".
3. Tracy Mcgrady- Usually a SG, also SF at times. I was watching t-mac against the Heat and killed them offensively. He is great at creating his own shot and is one of the best scorers (2-time scoring champion). Sadly, he has had many back spasms preventing him from dunking and driving to the lane continuously, and is now limited strictly to shooting.
Eastern Conference Guards
1. Dwyane Wade- A great leader and one of the best guards in the league. Has shown to be a clutch shooter and take over games, evident from the finals last year. Also, a great playmaker at getting his teammates involved.
2. Vince Carter- Vincanity, Half Man Half Amazing. The greatest dunker all time in the nba in my opinion. Has the outstanding ability of driving to the lane and finish his plays. A decent shooter and just one of the most explosive guards ever.
3. Michael Redd- Many people will argue with this pick because the Bucks are sucking right now. However, when Redd was healthy at the beginning of the season, he was on the way to becoming the scoring champion and the Bucks making the playoffs. Too bad he got injured.
