when greeting people and saying goodbye i only offer my cheek for them to kiss and the only person i will let kiss me on the lips is my husband not even my kids however i did kiss people like mum,dad,nan,pop ect on the lips but it just feels wierd now. Is that strange or does anyone feel the same?

It's not strange at all, I've known several people like that, myself included. My fiancee is the only one who gets to kiss me on the lips. To me, he's the only one who should have that level of intimacy with me.

No, you're not strange for feeling this way. I don't like for relatives to try and kiss me on the lips, and some have tried (male or female) but I always turn my cheek or kiss them on the cheek instead. If I had kids, I'd probably kiss them on the lips lightly every now and then...when they're small but not when they get a little older. The only person I want smooching on my lips is my man...when I find him !!

I have done the same thing reason being that people now days are so germie and one is somewhat afraid of the kissing with everyone. Do a lots of hugging and or kissing on the jar of the person face. So I do feel the same way that you do.

Totally agree! It feels really weird. I only kiss hubby on the lips. If you think about it, why would anyone else want to kiss you on the lips? Huh?

I grew up kissing people on the cheeks, so i am used to that. You should decide, you should say goodbye in anywy you want to

No I don't think thats weird.... i think i would be awkward if your kids did kiss you on the lips.....

i feel the same, i actually dont like strangers or even friends to be kissing me on the cheeks when i least expect it, i just dont feel like it

you are not strange. for me , only past girl friends and now my wife gets kissed on the lips. it is intimate and reserved for my special other only
the others are strange.
