Recently I read a quote as follows:

WE ARE SPIRITUAL BEINGS GOING THROUGH A
TEMPORARY HUMAN EXPERIENCE.

Many thoughts raced through my mind but most perplexing question was,
how do you classify human experience vs spiritual one?

Anyone has any answers? if so include examples and justify your
reasoning of classification.

Well it's arguable that they're both actually the same thing. However, if you believe that you are more than just a human body with a brain then you could argue that there is more to you than just the human aspect, a "spiritual" aspect. A thing that connects you to something greater or even to all things. Using this view, the expression, "we are spiritual beings going through a temporary human experience," could translate roughly into, human being is a part of this greater whole however it is only a component and not the entire machine. Or, if you want to look at it in a minimalist style then you might say we are greater beings having a more minimal experience.

That last one just popped into my head and I thought it was funny.

So how do you classify a spiritual experience vs a human one?
I'd say that really depends. If you're like me (which you're probably not but oh well) then you might see the body as only a component of mind. Anything that occurs to the mind is often felt in the body and vice versa. The body's senses: taste touch sight smell hearing would be considered human experiences because they take place within the body. However experiences that take place out of context with the body could be considered "spiritual" these events usually occur when a change in perception is taken allowing for a fresh glimpse into reality. These views give the impression that there is more to reality than that initially perceived and these aspects of reality are dependent upon "shifts in consciousness" or changing your mind.

Seeing into the nature of reality that ultimately everything is based on everything else and everything was created when the self was created (dependent origination.) When you trace these phenomenon back to their source (the source of all duality) then what you find is that everything is created from the same spark, ( in which everything ultimately is one) that spark being awareness which allows all conceptual forms to be created you find that the self is only a component in duality and yet everything in duality is not separate from yourself which would lead to the concept of spirituality.

Normally a quote (wise one, or which need proper attention) is seen in accordance with the subject, the quote you have mentioned is not complete, as i perceive it, may be because subject is missing.

Experience comes from the keen observation, understanding, and then implementation of such, into the life (briefly).

If the subject matter is to understand the realities or truth, then experience cover extremly large perceptions (and i am assuming this subject hereafter).

Experience, broadly covers the two aspects of understanding, logic & spirtuality. These two aspects have many different names but more or less definition or end is same, e.g material & non-material approach, outer & inner, body & soul, mind & heart and so on.

As a critic on a quote, i would say, that experience includes all the abilities of Human being, so we are not only spiritual beings but also a material being too, and so for many this is a temporary experience, but for other minor group Human are passing through full experience, however what path he has choosed is the reflection of what he have understood from his own experience.

Therefore every spirtual experience can increase our whole some experience, like sometimes logics help us out, or as some times our heart (emotions) helps us out for taking decissions for family etc.

Those who have not tasted spiritual experience, for them it is something extra, as for a lay man, a logician is a thinker (means big thing).

Today our most of the world is materialistic now, so there are very few people left who are interested to know the spiritual knowledge or path, and so very few will understand this, how it works and what is gained from such experiences, as in this world there are stages or classes for understanding (reality from logics) similarly in the spiritual world there are stations according to our abilities of understanding and every station covers the universe from its own dimension, one of the such station when you passed through people would see you in different places, this is my own experience (thats why i answer the debate in full length).

Spiritualism is not a magic, or gaining extra powers and become a super human, just as logical understanding cannot made you a thinker indeed, and therefore if used negatively (just as negative logicians does) you may stuck in the spiritual station, although you may posses the powers but your grading will be nill.

That would be a enough hint, i think.

We are in the image of God, who is spirit. So we are spiritual beings. I still can't accept though, that we are just having a human experience since we will always have a body. We will be raised up at the end of time, to have a body like the one, Jesus came back in at his first appearing, after he rose again. You could touch it, Jesus ate food, it was a physical body. But I wouldn't consider it a human body with blood coursing through his veins either. It was a whole new type of body that the world has not seen yet. One that can just appear in a room as Jesus did . If I had to choose I would go with the first one but something about that statement just bothers me. I don't think we were put on this Earth just to experience being human. That makes no sense to me. I think the main reason we live and die is to learn that we are nothing without God. We need him, it is in him and through him, we live and breath and have our being. Without him, we are nothing. Just a vapor who can be extinguished in the twinkling of an eye.

First- not all spirits start out as flesh or animals like us.

Here is a thought: blood is the common denominator for humans; this lends to the fact that we are all brothers and sisters in the flesh regardless of our skin color; likewise, the spirit is the common denominator for all intelligent beings, no matter where they come from. They might not look like us; nevertheless, they too struggle to understand the mysteries of God; albeit, far less than we do.

There are different spiritual levels of being and we are at the bottom; for example: There are spiritual beings that are more evolved than other spiritual beings; so that the younger spirit has not obtained the higher level of spiritual attainment; thus, the spiritual vision of the younger is limited; in other-words, there are angels that cannot see other much older angels. When I say older I'm thinking in the millions. These levels of being is apparent throughout our documented history; the bible, mythology, etc, etc...

In conclusion:
Our human experience is one of intense training and it will never get harder than it is now.

Peace...

The human personality consists of various qualities or attributes. We are body, mind, soul and spirit, all at the same time. These qualities cannot actually be seperated, but they are considered individually for the sake of study and undestanding.
As an aid to understanding what I mean, I can have a glass of water which the water can be wet, cold, liquid all at the same time. I cannot seperate any of these from the water, just as I cannot seperate the human personality. I would challenge anyone to describe a spiritual experience that is not also a human experience.
Therefore attempting to seperate spiritual experience from human experience borders on nonsense.

To put it simple, I would say that human experience is nothing but leading a mundane life with the six senses bestowed on us by the Almighty, whereas the spiritual persons are those who have by constant spiritual practices, attained or in the process of attaining the 'seventh sense' to reach the CREATOR.

we are so inhuman and mechanical these days , that the true humane experiences seem like the spiritual one's. I donot belive in religion and spirituality. I believe if we can be true human beings and not seek the spiritual routes we will be justifying out identity as a human being.

Human experiences are mostly very bitter whereas Spiritual ones are sweeter than sweet.
As a child or human grows he experiences many bitter truths of life. All expectations which he had done earlier from the life or other pple, may be relatives, frnds or else seem to be truly false.
And then he comes closer to GOD, the spiritual Guru who heals all his wounds without hurting him in anyway. He becomes his strength and help him fight the false world living with false expectations.
Remembering HIS name brings a lot of love and satisfaction to ur body n soul. U feel the world which was yet undiscovered by u. U just don't wnt to get out of that world but ur worldly implications still prevail on u to get out of that world.

The whole universe is made up of Gods mind, manifesting itself as atoms, particles, energy and you are here with me.

That's the way the material universe functions ... but deep inside you ... at the very core of your conciseness is Being! Behind all physics is Being!

If planets fall from the heavens, know that God ceased to Be.

You are a spiritual Being going through a ninety-nine year experience! That's not even enough time for light to reach the nearest star.

With understanding;

All human experiences are limted, temporary and is changing with respect to time.
- either you lose interest or you find something more interesting.

In real spirituality there is no question of any experience. It transcends time, space and situations - as in deep sleep.
