Sorry, but a disproportionate amount of American public assistance goes to people in the Red States. The Republicans are truly a few thousand wealthy aristocratic snobs in New England (including the Bushes) using the Bible to get the white trailer trash vote in the South and Midwest. Most people who work for a living are Democrats.In fact, the majority of Americans are Democrats, period. And as for Welfare, it wouldn't amount to anything if the minimum wage was fair. It's always been the Republicans who opposed any minimum wage at all, forcing Dems to tax the 'haves' to assist the 'have nots'. Is this the best answer to your question?

iamct01,Timothy Mc Veigh grew to hate both parties. He was a separatist. John Wayne Gacy was a democrat. There's even a pic of him with Roslyn Carter on the net. Should we say all Dems are clown pants wearing,boy killers?

The answer is simple, they dems would use the budget surplus they restore once the reps are gone.
The void republicans leave can be filled by the democrats. After all, it wasn't the democrats who decided to ship our jobs overseas. Nope, that was conservatives in the board rooms of industry.
Remember when America used to actually build everything? Now we import everything except raw materials to make new goods. This is not a good thing and the economic collapse will be felt by republicans and democrats alike.

Chi guy those places you listed are far from all democrat between 40 and 48% in those states you listed voted for Bush last time around.

The Dem's would. Well if all the republicans were over there we can`t be attacked by American terrorist like Timothy McVeigh who was a registered republican. And it would give republican wives time for their bruises to heal.
