South American fans are waaay more passionate about football and their teams than European ones. The passion for the sport is so deep when i see matches of Boca Junior or Estudiantes or whatever team. They love football, they love their team and it's more than a simple hobby in South America, it's their own lifestyle.

I wouldn't say that they are more passionate but they are definitely just as passionate. Remember some of the worlds best are from South America, and the reason that they are so GOOD is because of the support they started with back home.

i think that hispanic fans (from mexico all the way down to the tip of south america) are more passionate about futbol. it is a religion unlike anyother. futbul engulfs everyday life. it really is more than just a game. but don't get me wrong there are great fans all over the world. we are just the best.

definitively, the Argentineans, brazilians, mexicans and Costarricans are the best at the time for support their teams with drums, jumping and singing supporting songs in a ska rhythm, they put a lot of "SABOR LATINO" contrary to the Europeans that are very boring and sophisticated and the only thing that they make is to applaud

every body talks about the argentinian fans, but its not only them who are passionate, i think troughout all latin america football is far more passionate than in any place else... the fans are always thinking about football and they do everything for going to the next match
