"Bud"
"Mac" were all names you could casually call someone if you didn't know that person's name. That was 70 years ago.

If Bugs had been made last year, his catchphrase would have been "What's up, Dude?"

yes he thinks every is superior that why he says DOC to everyone.

'bugs' is just a prefix, like Mr.Ms. or Mrs.

and to complete everything

"bunny" means rabbit

Bugs Bunny's name came from his creator (Ben Hardaway,) who was nicknamed "Bugs."

"What's up, Doc?" was a popular phrase in Texas, when Tex Avery added it to the character's repertoire.

I don't want to insult your intelligence by defining "Bunny."

He says "whats up doc" because that is what the writers wanted. It is a cute catch phrase that everyone recognizes as his... pretty smart huh?
