“Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s” Matthew 22:21

Who's credited with saying that again... Oh yeah, Jesus.

YOU are lying. We know when war is necessary- you dont have a clue. We know the law of God for His nations is different than for persons and that the death penalty is sometime necessary. We believe that everyone should have reduced tax burdens, so; when only the rich pay taxes, then only the rich should get cuts.. should we pay you for laying about and not contributing anything,,, like an EITC (30 million americans will get back more than they paid in this year). NO ONE is ending welfare for the deserving-- just cutting off the bums.. "let him that will not work not eat". Jesus made a whip and beat the traders and money changers and ran them out of the temple. Does HE love war? Does Jesus suffer baby murderers to live.. Did the Word of God say "a man shall not ly with another man. they both shall be stoned to death!"? Jesus gave to abortionist, democrats, and homosexuals the same oppurtunity He gave to me and Millions of republicans. That is the chance to repent and turn from your evil ways into the Glorious Light of Liberty..Liberty is never free, you must be willing to give your life for it to keep it.

If Jesus returned today he wouldn't like ANYTHING that he saw.
He wouldn't be either a Republican or Democrat and would hate the wars the world has fought during the centuries that he was not here. He would be totally disgusted with the people of this world.

If Jesus were alive today, he'd be opposing the European annexation of Palestine. He hated Julius Caesar and he would hate George Bush and his party as well, and for similar reasons. Jesus wasn't white and he didn't write the Bible; 3 Roman and Greek authors did, commissioned by Caesar. The Koran treats Jesus (Esau in Arabic) with greater respect than does the Bible. Don't get me started, brother.

Like is the keyword. While Jesus loves everyone, I would argue that he doesn't like the way the R party has gone against 90% of what he believed to be a humble Christian.

How Would Jesus Vote? It's an interesting question, and one that doesn't have an easy answer. Christ cared for the sick and the hungry whereas conservatives hate them and want them all to die. However, he actually believed in moral absolutes, the existence of evil, and the concept of sin - ideals totally inconsistent with liberalism. I doubt we could get ol' Jesus to condone abortion on demand, either. In fact, I bet he'd actually say that sodomy is wrong. Do we really need such a closed minded bigot in our party? I don't think so!

I met Him at the state convention last year. He was a precinct delegate but was thinking about running for township board. He's been a registered Republican since 1860.

NO... Jesus preached a revolution in the soul, and the Republicans, despite being the party of "morals," are clearly not for that. The Democrats are not either, but certainly more so than the Republicans.

Well, Anthony, your generalization that Republicans "love war" is laughable at best.

Jesus taught, give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, meaning he didn't really care about taxes.

Why should I let the government decide where I should support the poor? This should be my choice.

Jesus would be a conservative democrat. It is opposite of libertarian. He would be conservative on social things like abortion, but liberal on economic policy like welfare for the poor.
