While the legal age for being considered an adult varies from region to region (usually 18-21), in terms of maturity, this varies from person to person. Where I live I was legally considered an adult at the age of 18 in respect to being able to vote, sign legal contracts etc. Funnily enough though, even though you are considered an adult at age 18, you are not considered mature enough to drink alcohol until age 19. I find that contradictory.
In terms of maturity I didn't really consider myself a full-fledged adult until I was about 25 when I had a completed education, had begun a full-time career, had my own car and was on my way to saving for a down payment for my first house. I had my own apartment and paid all my own bills and was completely responsible for myself. I didn't "feel" like an adult until my mid to late twenties.

Legally at 18 but I cant tell you people even in thier early 20's dont see 18-year-olds as adults just bigger kids w more rights. I think most people are considered adults(by other adults) in their mid-20's.

You may be a teen but the rest of the world views you as an adult. I don't think you are an adult until you take on some adult responsibilities. Like a job, a place to live, bills.. etc. It all depends on how you view it.

I only see 18 as an adult because thats what you are by law.
I see people as an adult once they are living on there own have a job and pay their own bills. In other words your an adult when you are fully capable to care for youself without being dependent on your parent like you were when you were 15.

really it doesnt mean any age , cause i know some teens act more adult than some actual 30 yr olds. it depends on like how mature you act and your way of life, think about it some teens get pregnant and have to become adults faster than they may have wanted to.
