I have a friend who looks east indian but is from a completely diffirent country. I noticed when we go to malls or public places I always hear people say bad things about him. They say things about indians and how they are weird. My friend speaks english well and does not smell. Then why do people judge him because he's brown skinned?

I'm not sure. In my opinion, they are all cowards. They should not say those things, especially behind his back. Tell him he should not listen to what other's think. He sounds like a very cool person to meet.

Because a lot of people live in their own race's world and they never interact with other races much, so therefore they are ignorant towards how things really are, and go by assumptions and stereotypes. All races do it. I guess it's really just human nature. It may be a world of individuals, but most people fail to looks at things in that perspective.

First, opinions that count are not based on a persons real or assumed contry of origin.
People see me and they immediately assume because of my skin color I must think one way or another. It doesn't work anyway your use it.

Because HUMANS are dumb.. no matter what the race... we are brought up with biases without proof...

they suck because they didnt find out about who they were before they judged...

I think that if you judge someone before you know them you miss out on a whole lot..
