What I experience in life is based completely on my perceptions. My perceptions are based and determined by my beliefs. My beliefs can be altered if I choose. I therefore am the creator of my life and can alter it at will. This may be a bit over simplified, because a lot of courage is required to risk looking at and analyzing our own beliefs, but it is the only process I have found that actually has created real change for the good in my life.
A basic understanding of "the laws of the universe" is a prerequisite to analyzing our concepts which are our belief system. One of the fundamental "laws of the universe" is the Law of Attraction.

make and spend little or no money. I have been going 7 months now without a job, bank account and no source of income and am surviving off the fruit of the land. It is amazing what this world provides. Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I don't have to pay taxes and most importantly if I need to rob a store or steal food I can without getting caught as long as it's for the purpose of surviving.

Well to have a happy life I always say, "Live for today". To me today is what counts, whatever comes tomorrow is in the future and does not matter to me. While this motto may not be the best to prolong ones life or live a healthy one, but it has been successful for me so far. I guess I am just one lucky SOB.

Balance and flexibility. This philosophy applies to every aspect of life; work, recreation, sleep, food, exercise, socialization, quiet time, splurging, frugality, planning, spontanaeity, and so on. Too much of anything throws the system out of whack, and striving for balance keeps me content. At the same time you have to be willing to roll with the punches life throws at you, even when this upsets the balance.

I have to go along the same lines as Aristotle. He said the Happiness is virtue. His definition of virtue is not the same as ours. His version of virtue is to balance out everything. Find the medium for all things and that will lead you to virtue finding the compromise of to extremes. For example poor and rich the compromise would be middle class neither too poor you cant do anything or too rich were you wont do anything but the middle class does stuff because they want to and they can.

to realize that you attract exactly what you put out into the universe. we create our own realities and are completely in control of what we attract into and prevent from entering our lives.

in that vein, there is nobody that the universe requires you to answer to but yourself. with that knowledge you should never give your power over to anybody else. doing otherwise is only harming yourself, and creating a false reality in which you create an artificial and very limiting confine for yourself.

it's a hard concept to grasp, but once i got it my life completely changed.

"The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time
Any fool can do it
There ain't nothing to it
Nobody knows how we got to
The top of the hill
But since were on our way down
We might as well enjoy the ride"
