I don't think smoking would tip the test one way or the other. I have to get blood work all the time and I even smoke on my way to the doctor's office.

you are better off not to smoke anyway. just skip it tonight. and tomorrow. then just wait for one more day. ah make it another day
before you know it you are not a smoker.then if anyone asks you how did you stop smoking, you can say i had a blood test so i did not smoke just before the blood test and for got to start again.
kewl! congrats! on not smoking.

They probably told you it was a fasting blood test. Smoking or not smoking will make no difference.

It shouldn't affect the results, so unless you were specifically told not to smoke it's OK.

It won't affect any ordinary blood tests. It will however give you heart and lung disease, possibly lung cancer and inevitably mean you will die younger than you were meant too! Give up! perhaps discuss it with your GP or practice nurse while you are there.

Depends on what you are smoking, if you catch my drift.
