If they both stay healthy 20-25 games. Of course I still have my doubts about Wells staying healthy for the entire season. If so Wells should win 8 to 10 and Maddux 12 to 15.

If health permits, they can combine for 25, but I'll only be happy with about 15 of them (which is what I would project Maddux to win in this scenario).

Fortunately, Wells has health issues, so my guess is that the duo combines for less than 20 (19, to be exact). In this scenario, I project Maddux to win only 13 of those 19, so the other 6 have to go to Wells.

A perfect scenario, of course, has Maddux winning 15 and the two combining for 15.

I would give Maddux 13-15 and Wells (if he stays healthy) about 12-14, for a grand total o25-29 wins from the ancient duo! I like the Pads team, and hope these guys cancontribute to a good season and mesh well with the younger guys.

About a quarter of their combined ages (Wells will be 44 this year, and Maddux 41). I think 22 is a good expectation.

Between them they'll win over 25. I think Maddux still has the hunger. Wells is just doing it for the beer money....

I'm gonna go with 23 combined wins. Mad Dog is almost a guaranteed 15 W's, especially in spacious Petco and Boomer can still compete when he is not injured.

i began thinking approximately this some years in the past. i think of its life like based on the kind of pitcher he's. he isn't a power guy meaning he ought to probally flow some extra years. he's fairly a extra effectual, suitable surpassed version of jamie moyer, and if he pitches as long as moyer then i might say its a performed deal. a concern, nonetheless, is that he's a 6 inning pitcher at present, meaning he's going to ought to place self assurance in his bullpen to get to 4 hundred wins. if clemens had had any bullpen in any respect in houston then he could be nearer to 4 hundred wins than 350.
