2. Someone is talking so much or interrupting you so much that you can't get in a word or your opinions.

3. Not stating exactly what you mean; being unclear or vague.

4. To hear news or gossip from someone who heard it from someone else.

2. means someone is dominating the conversation so much you must slide your one word in on egde
3.I don't know this one!
4. means you received the information you have via a big net of people like water travels through many branches on a grapevine.
