For what possible reason would it take a week to remove one email from an email spam list???

Expect to receive more spam now that you clicked on that. Unless it is a trusted source like Yahoo, Microsoft, etc., then don't click the "unsubscribe" link. It is just a way for the spammers to verify your email address is one that is being received. So alot of times when you think you are unsubscribing then you are actually letting the spammer know that your email address is valid.

Software professional think , just a query is required to delete. thats exactly true. Have u ever seen this message from a branded site. No ... Am I right . Then most of the local site wont use automated unsubscribed , because they dont want to loose there customers at that moment .... the value of an email address is much greater than you think.....
