I love a good laugh-out-loud movie. It keeps the date in a positive light. A sad movie gets the two of you in a weepy mood, and I don't like to be sad on a date. Personally, the cheesier the better. Plus, especially if this is a first date, it gives you something to talk about i.e. "Can you believe that he said that?!?!"
Anything along the lines of Spaceballs, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Zoolander, even Shrek.
Overall, it depends on you and your date.

well depends i would love it if a guy just busted out Old School, Road Trip or Eurotrip they are just a lot of fun and you have stuff to talk about now if you're trying to set up a good kinda lovin mood go with Original Sin it's hot ... if she's not faint hearted a scary movie is good too it gives us a reason to cuddle cause were scared ;)

Legends In The Fall ( or Legends Of The Fall I forget what the name is specifically)... It is a tear Jerker that will get your sig-O in the cuddley Huggy state fast.

my favorite is 50 First Dates. It's the best of both world's b/c it's not a straight-up chick flick b/c it has adam sandler in it. girls get all gushy a/b how he makes her fall in love w/ him day after day and guys just crack up at how funny adam sandler is.

if you're taking out a girl, it's best to get movies with kissing scenes. hoho. dont forget to hold her hand in the dark as well.

The Princess Bride--has something for everyone. It can be "ha-ha" funny or stupid funny--but still a good, mindless movie.
