I have an 1985 Cadillac Coupe DeVille and recently the Engine Coolant Fan light comes on every so often and also tonight my "stop engine oil" light is on. I have 50k miles my engine and i have no idea why. Any help would be great. P.S. my oil was changed a few weeks ago.

The word "stop" in the engine oil lite means stop driving.. you have A, low oil pressure, or B, low oil quantity, or C, a bad sender. If your answer is not C.... then your engine may soon be toast and on a 1985 you may be looking for a newer car.. good luck.

Check your coolant and oil to see if it is a milky color. If it is then you probably blew a head or intake gasket.

Did you check the oil level? Maybe it wasn't closed up properly and you're losing some. Check the radiator while you're in there and see if it needs some more water.

Both of your Lights are coming on because both bulbs still work.
