Why don't people return shopping cars to the cart rack?

Every time I go to the grocery store or Costco, I'll see carts all over the place, in front of cars, in between cars, sometimes rolling into other cars! Why can't people just take the extra minute and wheel the cart back to the cart rack? Is it that friggin' hard???

I think it depends on alot of things. Sometimes people think no one is looking, or that its the stores responsibility to put them back. Or they just dont care, they wont ever see you again, and who are you and what are you gonna do about it. Just remember "what comes arround goes arround"

If the procuring mall has been courteous adequate to offer adequate close by cart racks for the vehicle motor vehicle parking zone, then i'll , yet whilst its 3 aisles over and that i've got my youngsters in the vehicle, there is not any way i'll take it lower back. i do unlike leaving my youngsters in the vehicle.

It might be, as many answered here, laziness-but also some cars are parked quite far from the store or a designated parking lot cart area. I bet you put them back though. Preciate it.

Because the are so self-centered! They are unaware of anyone other than themselves.

They are the same people who pull way over to the right when they are making a left-hand turn, so nobody can get past them.

they're lazy. should've parked next to the cart rack.

Because we are too busy putting the bags inside the car, and then getting home before the ice cream melts...... ^_^
