We are now paying these illegal prices still. Should the puc(pub. utilities comm.) Is there colusion goimg on?) be refunding us the difference or are they too making money from this queer deal? I wouldn't put it past them nor any other large corporation to lie to not just congress but their own stockholders/employees.
I don't think I can put it in any easier terms for you all, when it so simple. If we get caught stealing we usually have to pay restitution equal to the amount stolen no matter the form of theft...why should Enron /Anderson / P.G.E, in Portland, Oregon. Yes our pre3sident of the local power company was also indicted with their parents for their own missdealings to California and other western states. So, why have we not staerted a class action? I don't know except for the fact that I can't afford an attorney to take the case..anyone? anyone? I'm not trying to start a riot but geeeze, let's not be victims here, but vigilanties...NOT

Wow. That is SO false!! They were convicted of accounting fraud which resulted in the complete collapse of the company due to bankruptcy. Hard to claim inflated prices and greed when the company had no freakin' money. They basically got caught writing bad checks....millions of them. But don't let the facts get in the way of your agenda...

"However, as was later discovered, many of Enron's recorded assets and profits were inflated, or even wholly fraudulent and nonexistent, by putting debts and losses into entities formed "offshore" that were not consolidated with (included in) the company's financial statements and, in addition, by the use of other sophisticated and arcane financial transactions between Enron and related companies formed to take unprofitable entities off the company's books."

bb,
You have shaved off some of your cerebellum while scalping yourself. Perhaps, I should have said 'military personal' in my previous query. You should be a scholar instead of a partisan hack; 'tis my advice.
Since you have no regard for scholarly literature (or even a basic knowledge of global history/events), please tell me that - Canada, Mexico, Australia, Cuba, Haiti, Columbia, Morroco, Paraguay, Kryzgstan, Qatar, The Baltics, Balkans (aside from Belarus), UAE, S.Arabia, Turkey, Czech Rep., Greece, Uzbekistan, former Yugoslavia...
please, tell me if any of these countries DO NOT have American military/personnel currently stationed in - let alone scores of other countries. But, how much do I have to do for you? Pick up a book, put down the cheetos, and your jiz soaked, coppulated covered copy of Anna's playmate pictorials. Look outside the box man. I know it's tough. Be an individual, who has something to say for himself. It's called individuality, I thought it's what your country stood for.

P.S. You check out that Blue/Red question! I thought I had embarrassed you enough.
Adieu, corky.

No, they were convicted of cooking the corporate books and submitting false statements that hid their debt, and made them seem more profitable than they really were. These are criminal activities.

It had nothing to do with the price of energy.

Where do you people come up with this stuff?
