oh wow. I live in santa cruz cali, and its a surf town every girl i know owns vans....i have like 4 pair and i love them and get comments on them everytime i wear them . where are you from? i mostly have slip ons but if you have tie ups um you just tie them we over here dont do anything with the tie

Pinks and light blues ONLY. No boyish colors.
Crss cross laces.
I would just leave the bow.

No, they have wonderful patterns that girls just LOVE!! I personally have the pink polka dot slip on vans on right now!
They are really comfortable!!
