Yes, if McCain had any integrity, he would have spoken out a lot sooner. Instead he backed Bush in the last election, even as the GOP bashed the war hero John Kerry with treasonous lies.

John McCain has lost ALL credibility and is clearly one of the WORST political hacks of American history, EXACTLY BECAUSE he has claimed to be a "straight talker".

He is total scum, in my opinion.

I do still find him quite charming and entertaining to watch though, despite my growing disdain. He is a brilliant sociopath, no doubt about THAT.

He was one of many running on the intel that Iraq had WMDs and the will/capability to use them. So at the time, it seemed like a good idea.

About supporting Rummy beforehand, I have no clue what made him do a 180.

Well, it depends if you think McCain is a self-seeking liar or not. Was he lying when he was praising Rumsfeld not so long ago, or is he lying now, playing to the audience?

I was almost warming to that nutjob, and now he's exposed himself for what he is - a true life Greg Stillson. That nut will NOT become the Rep nominee.

3000+ of our men and women will never come home. Thousands more have been severely injured, not to mention the mental distress that these soldiers will have for the rest of their lives. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis dead. ALL OF THIS FOR WHAT?? I want to ask all of those war lovers in Washington that question.....FOR WHAT?? God help us!

John McCain has became a major political flip-flopper. McCain's failure has hurt military morale.

Now that he's gonna run for President again, expect to see more of it.

Well, maybe he only came to that conclusion recently, but if not, it should have been sooner rather than later. I don't think what he said about Rumsfeld would have done anything for those who died, though.

he could have easily. However in today's "there can be only two parties" system, he has to have one sides support.

That's something that he will have to live with.

When someone is wrong you speak up....no matter whose toes you step on.
