ask how scheduling is done, what will be your average amount of hours per week, ask if overtime is available (managers love to hear that people want to work), ask who would you report to, is there a dress code. don't ask about money, time off or benefits until they offer you the job, but when they do offer you the job be sure to find out exactly what you get. good luck.

I work at Old Navy and didnt have to do a 2nd interview, in fact I barely had a first interview, lol. Your store must really want to filter out the "bad" applicants. Wearing a suit/business attire is not necessary, but make sure you look presentable in your casual clothes. After reading this, it might make you think of questions to ask the manager:

In case you don't already know about the positions involved, you can be hired to work on 1 (or both) "teams" of the store - they are Customer Service or Logistics. Logistics depends on your availability if you are able to work the hours that your store processes shipment. Some shipments are early morning, and some in the evening. Logistics includes shipment, markdowns, signage, merchandising, etc. Customer Service involves being a "sales associate" - being on the register, a fitting room attendant, or on the salesfloor recovering an area.

Both positions are tons of fun (I work on both sides)... sometimes people have a preference for one or the other, but it depends on what you like to do, and will depend on the hours you are available. If you prefer to be one-on-one with customers, then customer service is for you. But Logistics does not mean that you're hiding in the back room all day - the truck is processed from the door to the salesfloor, hence the name of the process Door To Floor. The majority of your time is spent on the floor, just not during the busiest time of day (and sometimes when the store is closed). Just because the store hours are 9am-9pm, doesnt mean that's when you start or leave work. There are usually employees in the store 2 hrs before and after the store is opened or closed.

You can ask for any clarification on the discount policy, however they will cover this in the training session and make you sign the agreement.

Old Navy rocks, and you will like it, so I hope you get the job! Message me if you have any questions, and hopefully I'll be able to say Welcome to the Old Navy team. :-)

Second interviews are usually more of the same. They will probably ask you to tell them an example of good customer service that happened to you, or a bad example and how it could have happened better. They will ask you how you have provided good customer service. How you deal with difficult customers. What your schedule is. Why you want to work there.

Just more in depth of what they asked the first time around.

As for what you should ask, you can ask about benefits. How do people get raises. How long does it take to get promoted for an ambitious employee. Ask the interviewer why they like working there (that's always a good one.)

Good luck!
