Two names that I really like for little girls are Ella and Jocelyn. I give two because I don't know if you want a name that is or is not "nickname-able".

Ella is a beautiful name, elegant and still sweet. It's something you can call a baby but also appropriate for an adult with a career.

Jocelyn is, again, a very elegant name. Very feminine. Also, if you are the type that likes nicknames, this is a name that can be shortened in several ways. Jo. Jocie. Lyn. Jolie.

Whatever you name the baby, I sincerely hope the name carries untold amounts of love with it. I wish you the joy of parenting and tons of patience for when the joy wears out.

Well, Athena was the Greek Goddess of beauty, and there's Angelina, Elena, Esperanza, Chantele, Sade, Sierra, Serena, Aphrodite was the Roman Goddess of beauty, and many others. Maybe you would be better off waiting to see what she looks like; sometimes when first seeing a baby the name becomes clear

Hello Oscar,

Congratulations on having your first child.

I Have a son Named Oscar... We just LOVE that name!

Try looking on-line for baby names or in some baby name books. It's my opinion that some of the most beautiful names are the ones that bring feelings with their pronunciation.

I like Sophia, Katherine and for awhile we were stuck on the name River. I just had a boy but if he had been a girl we would have named him either River Katherine or Sophia Grace. Instead he is Samuel Steven. :)
