When I wanted people to know that I babysat, I made lots of flyers. And handed them to people I knew. I put my name, e-mail, phone number, and my experiences with kids. I also put that I have passed a babysitting course, and I put my age.
Here are some tips:

Finding Work

To find work when you're getting started, ask around. Maybe your neighbors or others you know have heard of sitting jobs. When looking for wokr, be careful:

*Don't ever advertise. Anyone could take your name or number. Not all people have good intentions

* Don't sit for people you don't know or who haven't been recommended. Babysitting fr strangers you don't know could be risky if you know nothing about them.

*Meet with family before agreeing to babysit for them. Even if you are referred by someone you know, you may not like the situation in the home or attidude of the parents, or you may just not feel right about it. If so, don't take the job.

Above are some helpful tips while looking for a job, I got these tips at my babysitting course.
Have fun, Be safe!

Flyers are helpful! I would put the resume information onto the flier. I normally make about 200 copies and on the bottom, you know how you can have taps on the bottom that potential costumers can take off. The taps should have your name, phone #, and the words "CERTIFIED BABYSITTER." With the fliers post them in convenient stores and other public places!
