Bartman should never have been blamed for what happened. The ball went into the stands, so him going after it was fair game. There were so many other things in that inning that went wrong; if only one play had gone differently, it'd be a different story. As it is, a Cub fan's life was ruined because people blamed him unfairly, even after he issued a profuse apology for something he didn't really need to apologize for. Anyway, what's in the past is in the past, and we have to move on.

This question is so wrong, I don't even know where to begin. First off, it's the Curse of the Billy Goat, not Bartman. Secondly, there's no such thing as curses and it was Gonzalez's botched routine double-play ball that screwed us over, not a foul ball. And lastly, this was over three seasons ago, put it to rest.

i believe in alex gonzales' botched groundball which could have ended the inning
i believe that mark prior was left in the game far too long
i believe the cubs also played an entire game after that and lost that one
bartman had nothing to do with it, the shoddy playing and managing did
