Belly Button Piercings: I have a few questions.?

Question

1.) how bad is it pain wise, and why?
2.) how much does it cost if you go to a professional place? just an average will do.
3.) how long does it take to heal?
4.) does it have to be a parent or guardian who signs for you or whatever, or can it just be an 18 year old?
5.) how do they check to make sure its a parent or guardian, haha.
6.) idk, anything else i should know?

#1The pain for me and 20 other friends that had it done was a 3, because they do it SOOOOOOOOO quick so right after is done you be like 'damn i got all hyped up for that?!' lol its not painful @ all and the swelling is a 6-7.. It hurts when your getting in bed and turning over but its a quick little ouch and thats it!.#2 I paid $25 for mine because im from NYC.. The average is 35-50 but 50 is too expensive $50 piercings is usually genital..But YOU JUST wanna go to any place look around inspect.. When their doing your piercing see if they're taking everything out of packages and not re-using ****.. #3 it takes a 2weeks to heal and if it don't heal in 2weeks take antibiotics... Or if you wanna take it b4 or after u do it...AND DON'T USE THAT PEROXIDE **** BECAUSE I REGRET IT!... #4 i did all my piercings with no guardian and i was 13, lol.. My friend had trouble going thru that and the ***** was 16!! alot of places do that so they wont get sued by parents(lol) and just to keep refrences of how many piercings/tats they do.. if you dont want noone knowing.. go in looking professional, and don't bring your friends... and if they still ask for I.D. just get a fake one cuz its not THAT important.. and if thats not working just be like 'i can take my money else where' and they still be an *** just walk away.. yes they have to be 18 or older and some asses say to have a parent with you... But you can ask a passer by to go with you.. LOL..They check ID... Just know the passer by last name..so if they ask you u know it too... They'll tell you everything else while your their.. and no they do not numb it...and another thing.. go to the website that i listed and they have TONS OF PIERCINGS AND STORIES ABOUT PEOPLE GETTING THEIR PIERCING done.. i hope this works...

1- On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 2.
2-It cost me 40 bucks and some change.
3-It took about 2 weeks for me, but I don't smoke either.
4-The rule of thumb, is 18, with picture ID
5-Under 18, without a guardian, NO GO, NO WAY, NOT EVER!!
(Sorry Hon, but I'm a foxxy 40something, know the law, and a MOTHER!!!!
6-You do care for it a lot more than an ear-ring, because your navel area is more subject to abrasions, due to catching on clothing..
Do clean your wound site, (es, this is what it is called in medical speak),on a 2X ,2 times,daily basis.
Hon, do understand that sanitation of piercing needles is to the utmost of importance! DO inquire if the salon autoclaves, or sanitizes their needles. If you don't see needles coming out of a blister pak, I do suggest that you do head for the door. Since, reputable piecing does offer blister pak, equipment.
If you smoke, the quit if you want a piercing to heal quickly.

1) Mine didn't hurt too much, getting my ear lobes with the gun was worse.
2) Mine was $65 including jewellery (Australia).
3) About 6 months, mine fell out and closed over before it was fully healed.
4) I think you have to be older than 16 (in some places, 18 in others) for no parental permission.
5) ID, birth certificate, drivers licence.
6) Get it pierced with a ring, I had mine with a bar and it was harder to clean.

Actually it does'nt even hurt at all.It really tickes it really does. It costs about 50.00 even maybe cheaper depending on the shop. If u go get it done pro but if your'e under 18 they won't do it without parent's persmission. Its a state law. If your'e 18 they will do it. Trust me i done it myself before no pain at all. But the clamp might be uncomfortable. It takes bout 6 weeks to heal but that's if you're careful and don't mess with the jewerly. Just close your eyes and don't move around if you get scared, or it will go croocked.

4) 16 when i went to NEW TRIBE downtown . . its suchh a good place to get piercings & tattoos .

depends on your pain tolerance can hurt right after bein done and will hurt for about 1 week esp longer if you get it hooked on your clothes !! normally in texas it is 20 dollars and you get the jewlery !!! normal healing time is about 1 week !!! i guess that just depends on the parlor !!! question 5 i guess they just take their word !!! lol make sure you get some nice belly jewlery !!! and good luck !!! i am 30 and i have had my since i was 16

i dont know anything about it but from reading these answers im ready to get it done now. fears aside, lol. i have a q similar to urs ya know. maybe u can give me some tips on what to expect that is if u already had it done.
