Here is what wikipedia states about Forrest Gump's IQ.

"The film tells the story of a simple man (or gump) and his epic journey through life, meeting historical figures, influencing popular culture and experiencing first-hand historic events while largely unaware of their significance, due to his low IQ of 75. " -Direct quote from Wikipedia

The link below goes into more detail about Forrest Gumps life and would be beneficial for any other information you need. I hope this helps.

I think I remember them saying that in order to go to regular school, the IQ had to be 70-75, but Forrest was right below it, around 68.

People with lower IQs are still people. They have the same feelings and things just like everyone else. They do not have accents unless they are from areas that have them, such as the South, New England, etc. Forrest was from Alabama and the accent is that of a southren man.

His IQ was 75. The state requires a minimum IQ of 80 to attend public school. He was five points shy of minimum. Good luck on your paper.

Technically I would put him at an IQ of 70. That is to say he lacks mental processing skills; but he makes up for it in other ways-primarily kindness and compassion.

His IQ was 75 when he was trying to get into grade school, and I don't think it raised much after that.. :)

I think you should do your own work instead of asking everyone on Yahoo to do it for you. He might have been a few sandwiches short of a picnic but at least he worked hard and did his own work.
