Currently only the USB LAN adapter will work on the USB Port.
And there was a Video of a USB-Powered plastic dog humping the Wii. However, this gadget runs on everything providung an USB port.

As of now, nothing really. The ports are just there...they have electricity flowing through them so you can like charge your iPod and stuff like that. Right now you can't use it for keyboards, mice, flash drives, etc. but Nintendo can, and probably will, remedy that with a software update. ;) Be patient.
