Yahoo! has done nothing of the sort.

Where on earth did you read or hear about Yahoo! being involved with the Bush administration, at all?

..Now if this is about you, having a question or answer removed, AGAIN, Yahoo! has done nothing of the sort.
There are various aspects, such as Answers, Games, Groups, Flickr, Messenger, Personals & Classifieds, that have specific TOS's (Terms of Service)
When you opt, into any of these services, you agree to specific set of parameters, including but not limited to HOW you interact with other users, and how you approach copyright, and conflict.

If you choose to accept the TOS, you are in essence accepting the restrictions. That does NOT constitute censorship on their part, it verifies insincerity in the behavior of the user who accepted the restrictions, then verbalizes allegations of impropriety..

Free speech has not been condemned by Yahoo! As with the world, you can say whatever you want within a few parameters acceptable by the nations and ethics. If you learn to use your English properly you can explore anything you like. If you want to talk dirty or about porn you will need to go somewhere that excludes young people. Same as in the real world.

Um, the 1st amendment states "Congress shall pass no law..."
Last time I checked Yahoo was a private business, and capable of setting and enforcing their own rules.
If you don't like that, there is nothing stopping you from creating your own website upon which you can say what ever you wish.

They're a business, not part of the government. It's like yelling 'f***' REALLY loud in the middle of Disneyland, they WILL escort you off of the premises.
Though this place is a reach from Disneyland, it's the same thing.

Boo Hoo! Get some questions removed?! Join the crowd! I bet you report my answer because you're a liberal and you don't like what I'm saying. What does that say about "free speech?"

I hope Bush et al are listening! Maybe I can get an invite to the White House or at least get paid like another one of you liberals suggested in another whiny post!

Yahoo has no obligation to give you free speech. It is not a government forum. Take a civics course before whining about free speech.

What he is doing is not illegal (Patriot Act). You may not like it but it is not illegal. Actually, it's Google that has stopped free speech.

If we ever needed proof that 6 beers and Yahoo Answers don't mix, here it is.

Yahoo is a liberal org. it defends the "honor" of liberals...if one takes offense at how you remark at their slurs of persons....you get your answer deleted and threatened with discontinued service...free speech is a fallacy here....you can not insult or hurt the feelings of a lib...if they offend and are reported...NOTHING...
PS...libbie the LEGAL wiretaps were and ARE on calls made overseas to KNOWN affilliates of terrorist orgs...try READING the Patriot Act...before making outlandish claims....PSS Congress passed it and it has NOT been repealed by your DEMOCRAT CONGRESS

Actually, this is technically private so they can decide what goes on and doesn't go on. But I still say Yahoo Customer Service is full of idiots!
