There's no such thing as a "free" ferret. You might get one for free but you still have to get them to the vet for shots. Look for a vetted ferret with a small adoption fee. you can always look on www.petfinder.com

Call the vets around town and ask, a lot of people get them for them or their kids and they are too much for them. Ask if they will put up a sign for you, a lot of them will do that for you or you can make some flyers and put them up at the vets or even call the pound and give your number. Also some papers give free ads for things that aren't for sale. Call and ask them. Maybe a feed store or an animal supply place, any bulletin boards around town where people gather. Good luck. I hate them, but I see their goodness for others, just not me. lol

check your local classefields- you can probably get a new ferret free or very cheap.
