Why is America better than the rest of the world? If you disagree, why are you lying to yourself?

Because we have established what I call a psuedo socio-capitalist structure that keeps our poor and needy from living under bridges. We can thank FDR from keeping us from becoming a 3rd world country pulling us out of the Great Depression.

Have you ever been anywhere else in the world? You couldn't possibly consider America to be the best country in the world if you have, or even if you had any idea about what was happening in the rest of the world. Maybe you should get out more, try learning something, maybe watch the world news instead of the fear mongering rubbish you get on American television, because you my dear are sorely mistaken. I've no reason to lie to myself, I lived there for 21 years, my family and friends are all there and I love them dearly, but there is a reason I'll never live there again. People like you.

Nationalism is the belief that your country is superior to all others simply because you ahppened to be born there.
That said, America is not perfect, but from what I've seen it beats the alternative.
What other country has so many people breaking into it?
If we're so terrible why are 12-20 Mil. of our 300,000,000 pop. here w/o going through the proper channels?
How many nations have a govt. policy to harm/hate people based on race/religion, or women for displaying more than their eyes in public? (Yes, there are ******* in the US who feel that way, but they are not Govt. sanctioned.)
These are all reason why I love my country, as Carlos Mencia stated, "Because, That's America B*tch!"

America is better than the rest of the world because it has the most bombs. The most prisons. The most people behind bars. The most expensive and most inefficient medical system. The 19th best education system in the world and going down. Jobs being shipped overseas. A trillion dollar debt to the Communists in China. TWO wars, maybe THREE! The death penalty. I could go on. Oh yes, a Republican court system that always favors only the rich.

USA is worst that others. Communist countries are much better than USA.
People been bull **** that democracy have been used to invade other country by force ( war ).

GOD, being honored by those who founded our nation, honored our nation and made it great. As we turn farther away from GOD, He cuts off the flow of blessings.. Post Christian America is a pale shadow of the strong and brave hero of Christianity and liberty we once were.. It has become a country of cowards who cannot even resolve to fight the puny devils in iran and syria...
pray for u.s., for our leaders, for strength. Bless and honor GOD and the blessings will return .. but, dont say,"God, bless America", rather say; "america, bless GOD!"

Humility is obviously not one of your hang ups is it? Still the blogbaba has seen quite of bit of the rest of the world, and you are right America is the only country with an immigration problem. The rest of the world does seem like they are trying to get into the U.S. I mean, other than the swarms of people fleeing to neighboring countries when the Bushwhacker is whacking another Middle Eastern oil rich country, our boarders seem to get more traffic than most. My best guess is it has something to do with "one nation under God" being a covenant with the almighty and all the blessings granted to US by God.

The US is number 29 out of the 30 top industrial countries in regards to child well being (diet, education and housing)...Britain is the lowest at number 30...We have a military larger than all other countries combined, yet we do not protect our own children...America is a wonderful place, it's just that the politicians are out of control and con artists masquerading as preachers are twisting morality
