You should read Magician, Silverthorn and A Darkness at Sethanon - the Riftwar Trilogy by Raymond E Feist - then read the next Series - Servant of the Empire, Daughter of the Empire and Mistress of the Empire also by Raymond E Feist and Danny Wurts.
One of the best fantasy books ever is Imajica by Clive Barker - it is an incredible book - what a mind!
Also good is Stephen Donaldson - The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever (there are three - three book series) - that should keep you busy for a while!
After that there's Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time ten book saga.

Do try the Discworld books of Terry Pratchett. They are really entertaining. They read easily, they can be hilarious, they have become addicting as far as I'm concerned. Try the library. Some might be online, also. There's that audio-book website that lets you listen in on samples, too. Can't remember the name....
Try the first 2 or maybe "Night Watch".
Then there's Jasper Fforde's Nursery Crimes novels. Great stuff if you're moderately well-read.
Piers Anthony has the Xanth series which is also light. You do have to be pun-tolerant.
I liked Zelazny's Amber series a bit. There are a lot of new ones from people continuing the series since Zelazny died a while back.
That's pretty much it for me (unless you want to count the Dr. Strange comics from Marvel) as my favorite genre is Sci-Fi.

When in doubt go with the originals.
The Myths of the Ancient Greeks are always good. So many different editions are out there it isn't even funny. Many are for kids, some are for adults. I'd ask a librarian or bookseller to help you find which one you want and which will be most interesting to your age. Perseus, Hercules, Jason and the Argonauts, it's all here.
The Modern Fantasy Genre got its start from THE LORD OF THE RINGS by J.R.R. Tolkien.
Tolkien's best friend C.S. Lewis wrote THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA.

so many possibilities......
I am currently reading the bridge of D'arnath books by Carol Berg, they're really good - the first one is Son of Avonar
also try:
Lord of Snow and Ashes - Sarah Ash
anything David Eddings
Finovar tapesty ( three books), Tigana or Song for Arabonne - all by Guy gavriel kay
Game of thrones - george martin
Mirror of her dreams - stephen donaldson ( thomas convenant annoys me but this is good)
the Pern books - anne mccaffery ( technically sci- fi but reads like fantasy)
the first 6 dragonlance books - after that it gets to be a bit much.
Arrows of the Queen - mercedes lackey
Dragon Prince - melanie rawn
hope this helps -some I've mentioned are part of series, but I've at least named the first book

I recommend Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, which is a dark and rich fantasy about a man who stumbles across the magical world underneath London and gets pulled into a web of intrigue, mystery and murder.
Also, Sorcery and Cecelia by Patricia C Wrede and Carolyn Stevermer is a fun, light-hearted fantasy about two girls in an England where magic is accepted and how they manage to get in trouble and find a mystery.

My absolute favorite fantasy novel, bar none, is Mulengro, by Charles de Lint. It's very dark in tone, very close to horror, so if you want something a little less intense, try Paper Mage, by Leah R. Cutter.

Cry to heaven by Anne Rice....Spartacus by Howard Fast(outlawed during the Mccarthy era).....The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas, who also wrote the Three Musketeers & The man in the iron mask.....The Thornbirds by Colleen McCullough...brilliant book.....The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck (An amazing classic) & The Good Earth by Pearl Buck, lastly A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by betty Smith.
There, many classics and page turners for you!!! I have read all of these and in some cases multiple times!!! I really hope that this helps you!!! Spartacus will blow your mind. It had to be released in England as the McCarthy era had Howard fast black balled when it was written.
I hope that you read Cry to heaven by Anne Rice...it is NOT about vampires, but about the Italian Castrati, thus it is truth intermixed with fiction, rather historical fiction....
Happy reading!!!!! I gave y usome of my top faves here!!
Thanks,
Lioncourt
