I think it would be a great idea because sometimes the woman will not obey her husband even after he disciplines her. Having the government to enforce this law adds to the effectiveness of making wives more submissive and dutiful.

Well in the bible there IS a law that says that. But it doesn't mean that you should be able to boss your wife around in all the ways you want to and make them your personal slave, all it means is that the husband/father of the house should have the last say on EVERYTHING.... so there ya go.

That would be called the Stupidity Amendment to the Constitution. In a real relationship there is respect so neither party is the sole ruler of the house.

Lol yes, but what about the women that can't hold on to their men and they leave them, then there's only the woman, her 12 kids, and no man in the house? Who rules it then? That's something to ponder.

psh, where do you live? here in the US men and women are equal. they have equal say in the household. wives dont have to be submissive and dutiful to anyone if they dont want to be.

Actually I think that women should be in charge of the world and men should be kept underground for our pleasure and breeding..... and those are the only reason they should see the light of day................J/K....that'd be pretty harsh!
