I'm curious as to why they're moving further and further away from serious news and instead gearing it towards "yellow journalism"

Here's what I'd like: Serious, Good, and Funny
1.) A straightforward,unbiased "serious" news channel.
2.) A "good news" channel.
3.) The Gong show for politicians, and too rich celebrities.
It would be fun watching them get bonged off the show.

I was watching the Anna Nicole trial today and it brought me back to the OJ days, however, the OJ trial was a lot more sensational. I think they should only play that stuff on Court TV and save the news channels for real news.
