This actually happened once already, in the 80's. It was illegal to get a tattoo anywhere in New York City, because of the AIDS scare. It was considered such a significant health risk that they just banned tattoos altogether, though eventually they realized that people were getting tattooed anyway, and in much less sanitary conditions. I highly doubt another ban will come into action, and if it does, it won't last long.

Never heard of that in my life. Aren't there more important things to legislate on.
As for not letting you in the state if you have a tatoo, LOL, how in the heck would they control that? Not all tatoos are visible. Thats a pretty silly thing.

Actually it is an isn't true. No, this has nothing to do with those individuals who already have tattoos on their bodies, it has to do with tattoo artists...and there are already states which do not allow tattooing to be done.

State health departments in Texas, Oregon and Wisconsin monitor and inspect tattoo studios. However, tattoo studios operate in many states in the U.S. but are NOT inspected by a local health department. New York City currently has over 400 licensed tattoo artists. Tattoo studios are still illegal in several states in the US: Vermont, Massachusetts and Oklahoma.

i dont think it is real and just because you have a tatoo doesnt mean you cant go into that state, the government would lose too much money.

i have never heard this but if they are try to ban a tatoo that would be crazy because someone should be able to make that choice it is their body and noone should tell someone what to do. this is supost to be the land of the free everyone has a right to freedom of speech and u should have a freedom to do what u want to own body because it is your body

due to the church of Body art and Modification. this would be almost impossible.

though there are plenty that would like to see this happen i doubt that it is any more than rumor.

plus what is legal in one state is usually by default legal in another state. drivers liscense etc.
