If in another life, your siblings were just another person on the street and you are not related, do you think that you would get along with them then. What would your relation be to them if they are exactly the way they are now.
I think me and my brother would hate each other. I think we would end up beating the crap out of each other.

i dont hate my brother. i just dont think i would have given him the time of day. we get along good, but that's because living together and being related helped us get past our differences. but we share a lot and we have laughs every single day.

What an interesting question. I had a therapist tell me once you don't ask to be born into your family so who says you have to get along? Me personally, I don't think I would get along with them. We did as kids ok, but not as grown ups. We are all like night and day, nothing in common. But this is one of the best questions I have ever answered.

honestly, I worry that my brother and I would not have a relationship at all. We are 12 years apart (he's younger) and if it were not for the fact that he IS family, I'd likely never get the opportunity to meet him, or become close with him. However, sometimes I wonder if I were his babysitter and were unrelated, I would likely fight with him less, but not have as good a relationship with him as I do.
As for my sisters, they were exchange students and I honestly had never met them until they showed up to live in my house for a year each, so really, I could see if we met each other on the street, we probably would have gotten along.

I think I'd get along with 2 out of 3 of my sisters and all 4 of my brothers

If I weren't related to my sister and 3 brothers, we probably wouldn't be any more than acquaintances .. if that. My sister is the eldest and I'm the youngest so we grew up with absolutely nothing in common, and that hasn't changed. I really enjoy my brothers .. well, mostly .. but, again, all we have in common is parents and the history acquired thru living in the same house.
So, we'd get along alright, but we wouldn't be best friends.

I don't think I would get along with either my younger brother or my younger sister....but that's because I wouldn't really understand them the way I do now. They both have their annoying habits, but they are also both very kind and fun-loving people. I wouldn't know that about them if I only saw them on the street.

Yes, I think we would get along just fine.
It all depends on how old you guys are and the age difference you have. My brother is 6 years younger than me. When we were kids, we used to fight all the time he would punch me (I"m a girl btw) kick me...it was HORRIBLE!! but then, when he turned 15/16 years old, and I was 20 something, it got better, and now we get along just fine. Of course we do have some arguments from time to time, but, nothing like when we were kids.
So, just give time to time :)

No, I would not get along with my brother at all. I love him because he is my brother but there have been times that despite that, I didn't like the sort of person he was.

I think that we would be friends but she would be the kind of friend that you like cause they can be very nice but, can also get on your nerves... So like I wouldn't really call her unless I needed something or wanted to be nice and invite her over when I invite my other friends... Let's just put it this way my sister and I didn't really get along until we lived in different houses.

I have two biological sisters. One is my best friend. The other is an evil, horrible person and I don't associate with her. I can understand how you feel about your brother. Just being related isn't always enough to make you love someone.

NO, i don't think me and my brother would get along. We are just two different people. if i seen him on the street and didn't know him i would probably just keep on walking.
