yes, rip is definitely headed 2 his prime. he can play at least 5 more years and if he continues at the level he has been at, he will b a hall of famer. championship rings don't hurt either.

I think Hamilton has always been a scorer his entire NBA career and I think if he can hang on for another 7 to ten years he will have Hall of Fame numbers. Plus, Detroit has made some good playoff runs on these teams and sometimes the Hall of Fame voters give you credit for being a star on championship teams. Not a bad defensive player either.

first off i'd like to say that rip hamilton is one of my favirote players because of his ability to make the jumpshot, i think (next to kobe) he has the greatest jumpshot in the NBA.

now,

1)This Season Rip has had his highest scoring total, 2nd highest assist total, highest rebounding total, 2nd highest FG% total (last season was his highest) and has kept all of his other averages consitstent. So statistically speaking he is at the height of his career. Also I'd like to add that he has had career highs in points, fg made, and fg attempted this year.

So yes, i'd say he is at the peak of his career.

2)I would agree with you in saying Rip might be ONE of the most athletic man but he certaintly wouldnt be the most athletic, I mean Kobe Bryant! Vince Carter!! Lebron James!!! those are the greatest "athletes" in the NBA.
I also would have to disagree with you that saying Rip could be hall of fame material. i mean hypothetically if his team won a few other championships (they still could!!) he might be considered. But sorry man, i doubt it. i'm not trying to hate on my man rip, but he's just not that good.

1. yes this is rip's prime.
2. its hard to say if he going there you know. he plays on a team with 4 other big time players and its hard for people to see his game beacuse the pistons play team ball. unless he hogs the ball and chalk up 25 30 shots and convert 50%.

if he could become a decent 3ball shooter (40%), then he may be the next reggie miller.

too hard to answer that question, you have to be pretty special to make the hall of fame. if people have disputed barkley i think it would be hard to squeez in rip, love his game though.

Your right, he is the best in the league off the ball, but the most athletic???? fastest??? no, maybe the most durable long haul alont with kobe and AI.

he shouldnt have never been a all star this year there were way better players playing better than him who deserved it this year.... well 1 rip needs to gain more weight 2 he needs just a lil upgrade on his defense and yea he is the best off a screen he kinda reminds me of reggie miller.

Rip can be a better player than he use to be. Billups gots the ball more and Prince is a shooter also. So i think they got 3 hot shooters so he doen't get the ball more than he use to.
