ELO does it at the end of their On The Third Day album. It was also used in an old Peter Lorre movie. I think it was called The Creeper or something like that. Or was it M? Not sure where it's been used lately.

I have heard that song in several movies, promos and commercials. Perhaps the most eerie (and the one I can rememebr right now) was "M, the vampire of Dusseldorf"
