Do you think Simon Cowell is actually that mean or do you think he might be paid to be like that?

I know he has to be honest and everything but I think sometimes he way crosses the line. I think you can tell a person they suck without making them feel like a piece of crap. Anyway~~ I just always wondered if its "acting" on his part. I know a lot of people tune in just to see what rude a** coment hes gonna come up with next.

PS~ I guess i wasnt paying attention. I have no idea how this ended up in "homework help" ????????

i mean yea he gets paid just to be there but i dont think he gets paid to say stuff like that i think he is being truthfull to some extent and i understand him most of the time (i have a good ear for music) but i think he also adds to it to make himself look more interesting you know what i mean??

To some people he may seam to be mean, But I really think he believes in telling the truth. And even if it hurts, your going to strife to be better and do better, Because your going to want to prove him wrong. If he was nicer you would walk away, saying Oh that wasn't bad, and its also training you for the disappointments you might come across down the road.

i think its surprizing that the contestants, are tolerating judgments on thier singing from that no talent hack, Paula Abdul.

i mean really Kurt cobain , had serious motivation to practice every time he turned on a radio in the late eighties right?

I think he's a sweetheart... he's payed to be the bad guy...someone has to fill that role on the show...all Idol shows have the BAD GUY..

i think its acting and I think he gets paid to do it, but I also think he is being himself too, but the acting part comes out when he is very exreme about it.
