She has been kinda nervous and he wont socialize with any of my other roos and will refuse to drink out of their same pool of water everyday and only wants me to herself! Everytime my little wallaby comes up to me Bambi (my wallaroo) will hiss at her and sometimes nudge her out of the way so that she is the only one to be sitting on my lap or laying near me! What do you think that i should do to make her more friendly and less skittish and jelous of the other roos????
Thankyou very much and do not give me any stupid answers!

A wallaroo is not a hybird. It, also known as a Euro, is it's own species. She is overwhelmed. Give her a lot of patience and she will probably come around. They do tend to be highly strung though. Monitor her closely for licking of the forearms and excess salavation. These are signs of high stress levels and can be a precursor to Cardio Myopathy which is a killer. If she gets too stressed offer her a bottle as this is a comfort thing for young handraised roos. Just go slowly, be patient and don't demand that she interacts with your other animals until she is ready to do so. Providing her an enclosure for her only, but next to your other roos could help them to get acquinted in a less full on stressful manner.

Good luck.

This little Wallaroo is a possessive little creature often mixes breeding similar to say a mule brings out different traits mules a re very stubborn compared to donkeys and horses there seems to be a bit of like a mule correlation here. I think a little bit of persuasion of a physical nature and denial may be needed until retraining has occured.

I dunno. I still don't know what a wallaby is. When they grow up do they turn into wallawalla bingbang whoohoo walawei babbies? And if so... what do you do with them? Do you just sling them over your shoulder so one doesn't get burned when trying to light up? Do you let them just hang loose and allow them to follow you around everywhere you go, dragging you down slowly hoping eventually they learn to at least mop up the floor along the way without interrupting one's smoke, or worse getting a little splinter? Should one keep their wallabies in a little fur pouch and strap them to your back to insure they don't fall off this way you always know where to find them should you need them and at the same time are kept warm and protected? By any chance, do some people eat wallabies or is it something one bats a ball with?

It's very possible that she is trying to assert herself as the alpha. She is new to the family, and young and is trying to show that she can be just as 'big' as the others. As for not drinking out of the water dish, she could be afraid to, not seeing it as hers. Show her the water dish, pet her while she's there, let her know she can drink out of it, too. You might want to set up another one, just in case, let her be the first to drink out of it. Reassure her that she is a part of the family now, and just as important and loved as the other members, and let the others see you do this, then give them love. It should reassure all involved.

It sounds like she's having trouble with separation anxiety. Try spending time with her alone. Also, she may need to go to the vet. She could be suffering from depression which would cause her to be territorial.
